House Rules
To ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable experience for all guests and neighbors, please review the following rules and policies carefully. All guests must agree to these terms prior to booking.
Occupancy Limits
- Maximum 10 overnight guests
- Maximum 14 daytime visitors
- Primary renter must be 25+ years of age
- Primary renter must be present for the entire stay
Noise & Quiet Hours
- No parties, gatherings, or events — this is NOT a party house
- No outdoor music at any time (City-mandated)
- Quiet hours enforced 24/7 by the City of Palm Springs
- $500 fine issued by the City for noise violations
Smoking Policy
- No smoking or vaping indoors
- Smoking permitted in designated outdoor areas only
- Please dispose of all materials properly
Pets
- No pets allowed on the property
- This is a strict City and property policy
Parking
- Maximum 5 vehicles on the property at any time
- Street parking rules apply — please observe posted signs
- Do not block neighboring driveways
Pool & Outdoor Areas
- Pool use is entirely at guests' own risk
- No lifeguard on duty — supervise children at all times
- No diving — pool depth does not permit diving
- Pool heating is included with every stay
Check-In & Check-Out
- Standard check-in: 4:00 PM
- Standard check-out: 11:00 AM
- Early check-in / late check-out: $150 (subject to availability)
- Late check-out without approval may incur fees
Security & Cameras
- Exterior security cameras are active at all times
- Cameras are located at entry points and exterior areas only
- No cameras in any interior spaces
Important Notice
Violations of the noise ordinance, occupancy limits, or any City-mandated rule may result in immediate fines issued by the City of Palm Springs and/or termination of the rental agreement without refund. Please be respectful of our neighbors and community.
Legal Notices & Policies
Liability Waiver
All guests are required to acknowledge a liability waiver prior to check-in. Pool use, outdoor amenities, and all activities are undertaken at the guest's own risk.
City of Palm Springs Regulations
This property operates under Palm Springs City Vacation Rental Home Permit #069384. All city-mandated regulations apply, including noise ordinances and occupancy limits. Violations may result in fines levied directly by the City.
Long-Term Stay Policy
For stays of 28 nights or more, actual gas and electricity charges will apply and will be billed at cost.
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance (including "Cancel For Any Reason" coverage) is strongly recommended. The property is not responsible for trip interruptions due to weather, personal emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Taxes & Fees
A 12.5% total tax applies to all stays (11.5% TOT + 1% TBID), as required by the City of Palm Springs. Additional fees include a cleaning fee and booking/processing fee. Pool heating is included with every stay.
VRHP Cleaning Standards
The property is cleaned and sanitized to Vacation Rental Home Program (VRHP) standards between every stay.
